Halloamey, Thank you for always taking the time to help. Actually, I am afraid to unpot them and reduce the perlite at the moment. Would it help if make more holes above the existing holes for better air movement. and as for the roots that are growing outside the pots, they are only 3 roots per each Phals, there's also many new roots that have grown into the pot.
Yes surely, do not repot them again, just make more bigger holes and set the plants inan airy location. that will do it.
Yes you should do that, so that the pot has direct access to the air.
Good growing empiref.....Will you ever need to repot, as it seems the combo of perlite and lava rock may "never" break down??? ( I guess when the roots outgrow the pot you will put it in a larger container,,,,,,,,,,)
