Zainal, I read an article in the AOS magazine which said that grow the plants continuously at 27-30 oC for 2-3 years with vigourous watering and fertilizers and without letting the temperatures falling below as this would initiate spiking. After 2 years allow it a temperature drop and it will grow a huge spike. This is a trick that most nurseries in Taiwan do for producing huge inflorecences in Phals and other hybrids. I wish I had a climate controlled greenhouse to try it out.
