Simply magnificent, Geoff!!!! I shudder to think of the fuel cost. As Amey says we in Malaysia are so fortunate as we can grow most of of our orchids outdoors 24/7. Still would love to be able to grow the cooler types of orchids, though.

Yew, no problem, you just need a cool house like this one on Botanical Garden in Singapore. We (in Europe) have to spend money for heating you for cooling. Hmm!

The problem, Mieczyzlaw, is building and maintaining a cool house on a retired teacher's pension. Might be able to build one but would I be able to fill it with orchids? HAhahaha...

Yes, the cool house in the Singapore Botanic Gardens is really coool (forgive the pun). I always make it a point to visit it whenever I'm in Singapore.

Yeah, I think I will visit it again this coming week. The misting room is the place to stay in to keep away from the mozzies.

Geoff, what an awe inspiring collection! I'd love to have the space to have a full size greenhouse again, what a joy. Lots of work, too, but so rewarding! I love your organization.
