Tag is blurred looks like Pa...Anhinga 'HOF Jumbo' X ...oh Magic leopard#2

Upon checking other orchid tags there are Burr Castle Issa 'Hilo Bay' and Bllra Marfitch 'Howards Dream' and 'Surrogate Star'(pretty light purple with pink spots) and four complete surprises.

A very striking flower. I would bet you have quite a few of these flowers blooming or about to bloom. AL

Yes there are about a dozen buds and blooms on the one spike. No, they have no smell
Heres a question: Most of my intergenerics have raisin like bulbs, one has a nice smooth round bulb. Are they supposed to be nice and fat? Or does that even matter? This little leopard doesnt seem to care that it is all shriveled.

The intergenerics that I have (4 ) do have rather large p-bulbs which are mostly plump and full. I am careful, however, only to water them when they become completely dry. The bulb of course, is storage for water & "food." When/if the leaves get crinkles in them, I know it's uneven watering. they are particular, but I think mine are doing O.K. Betty :-)

The get wrinkly as they age or if they have experienced a lack of water. The new ones grown under your care will be nice and plump. No worries.

I just thought it was interesting how varied they are in the amount of wrinkles. Thought maybe it had to do with the parent crosses and their characteristics (cause they have different heights and thicknesses too). Wasn't sure if they could be re-plumped or not. Plants don't really seem to care, so I'm not too stressed on it. New ones that form in the little guys popping out shall be nice and fat! Thanks for the info BD!
