    Lovely bloom. Not sure I understand the title though. Is this a hybrid or is this a species slipper orchid?

    It should probably be Paph. Fanaticum unless they are wild collected plants. Paph. x fanaticum is only appropriate for the natural hybrid populations, not the man-made hybrid. Either way it is malipoense x micranthum or vice versa, as indicated, and one of my favorite hybrids.
