I did like your pics Branka, when I could stop shivering ! Seriously though , I guess I was down your way (?) almost a year ago, when we stayed at Lake Bled for a few days after visiting Venice for the Carnival . There was snow then, and part of the lake was frozen, but we didn't get into the mountains. My climbing days ( rock, not ice) ended very many years ago - my wife made me promise to give up when she was expecting our first child - who is now almost 50, but I've never stopped feeling happy when I am in the high places, even if only walking - even if only driving....
awesome pictures Branka...so amazing what ice/water can do
What beautiful shots you guys, all of them. It is making me very anxious for Spring. I snarl at the snow and the ice but they make the Spring so much more welcome. Last night we had thunderstorms and pouring rain - it took away much of the snow. Our ground is fully saturated and the rivers are full. The temperatures are to get into the 40s (Fahrenheit) today which is very welcome. Any new snow now will not last for long - the birds can feel it, they are singing their hearts out, and the squirrels are bounding between the trees - courting I suspect. Tomorrow is March and it promises to come in like a lamb!! Soon the skunks and the opposums will be foraging for a much deserved Spring meal. I told the chipmunks that if they continued to snip at my Hosta they were no longer welcomed. We shall see if they listen to me........
Your thoughts on Spring in Indiana are nearly poetic Don. Very enjoyable 'Ode To Spring' composition. AL

Very beautiful, Don...I enjoyed every word of your prose...Betty :-)
