And unfortunately the genus name has changed already. It is now Jackfowlieara Apple Blossom. Not positive of that spelling, just does not look right, but I think it is.

Wow Connie it is beautiful.
I bought this one last summer and it will not bloom for me this year. After a stint with bugs, mine took a little nose dive. Very nice to see yours and know that I have something to look forward to. I bought mine just because it was so pretty.
Sometimes I think it is the quality of the plant. If this one doesnt do well here i'll be suprised. The cattleya type are loving the new yard. And dendrobiums I thought were dead out front all have new growth. Orchids are moody things.... And if yours took a nosedive after bugs...it's a common thing. Go get another one and try try again.![]()
