Why does yellow mean the trash?? And can I pretend my address starts with "trash heap"?? All I see is a pretty flower that melts in our heat....which of course is probably why I want some of them so badly. Anything that flowers here is cause for much celebration and a hop and skip off to get the camera. Sometimes that includes weeds....

[QUOTE=Cjcorner;229133]Why does yellow mean the trash??

The orange stain on Mts bulbs often means that something has died . They just sort of dry up - strop growing....I don'tknow of its a bacterial infection orsomething which is specific to Miltoniopsis.or just their reaction to it... maybe the latter, since the silver colour of bulbs and leaves - usually meaning xerophytic tendency - ( abiliiy to stand strong sunlight for example) is not particularly true here - its just the way they are.)
