Virus on phalaenopsis orchid?

Hi! I have this phalaenopsis for about half a year. I had to repot it and gave it a fungicide treatment once. After that during a very short period of time (a day or two) it developed these spots mainly on one leaf. Now it has been a while since that fungicide treatment and the spots do not seem to progress. It looks like a virus to me but I have never encountered this problem. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

two questions....Do you foliar feed your plant or mist them? and, How much sun does this plant get? It looks like its an older leaf, which is a better.

it also dose not look like the damage runs to the crown of the plant, if it were me i would remove the leaf and isolate it from my other plants till i was sure it does not have a systemic infection...

I mist my plants to wash off the dust from time to time usually letting them dry before putting under the sun. Though in winter(when those spots appeared) there`s not much of it here.
Aja, Thanks for the advices. The plant was in a separate space from the time I bought it so I have not introduced it to my collection yet.

you should not be compromising the health of the plant since this is an older leaf, are you hesitant to remove it? if you do so, just do with a clean blade and dust with cin after...you will know quickly enough if you have a larger issue then the one leaf...

I just found this thread and am wondering how your phal is doing. I had one that looked like that and it got worse and any phals in the vicinity also developed the problem. I hope yours is fine but was wondering.

Here is a link to another thread on this forum of someone with similar problems. The leaves look just like mine and spread to any phal on the same table, but not to any other type of orchid. I ended up throwing out 4 of them, even tho they flowered beautifully and grew great roots. the new leaves always started out looking fine, but then developed all that cell collapse.

Sorry about your phals. I have just checked this plant to compare with the photo and it seems to look better now. The yellow on the leaf became greener actually, does not spread either. It is growing a new leaf which is more narrow and smaller. Perhaps this is due to the keiki at the base of the plant, which now has a bigger new leaf then the original plant. Time will show how it goes in the future, though.
