    Default Is this a saprophyte orchid? Help with identification requested.

    I live in Ft Lauderdale Fl and grow miniature orchids. I grow some inside and several outside. I am just introducing myself but have been reading posts for a while.

    I have an orchid that I am trying to identify. I think it is a saprophyte. It is growing in decaying mulch in the yard and is leafless with chlorophyll in both bulb and bloom stem. There are numerous blooming blubs in the beds.

    Your plant resembles Eulophia graminea.

    One of the web pages lists it as an invasive species.....Eulophia graminea that is!
