Phal is very beautiful flower, reach orchid exhibition together with father when I was teenager, began to love it, because my kids were borned in succession, needed a lot of expenses, stop planting them during 1995 to 2005, it is very easy to get them via network now.

Ah yes Peter, I just looked to see where you are located !. A lot of new Phal breeding is being done where you are. Not only Phals either - I think the only Catasetum/Cycnoches/Clowesia etc breeding - a group of great interest to me personally at present - is being done by a firm in your country - which I should not name here, I think. Regrettably that group of orchids is impossible to get here in UK - apart from the actual species, which I buy whenever I see them offered , and the one guy who has the franchise for the hybrids seems to have just fallen foul of the authorities here- didn't get the right form at the right time, and had all his 2011 importation of plants into Europe confiscated - so bang goes my order of plants.... Not sure if he will have the courage/finance to start again ... very sad....for both of us !
