The moonsoon rains have started, probably trigering flowering of this plant. It blooms irregularly as well, usually with only one or two flowers.

Nice to see you over here, but sorry there wasn't any attached picture.
Now it's there. I love it.

Strange looking Dendrobium. Pretty flower though.
Ntgerald, last time I went home to Pinas for a visit, I saw a Dendrobium (it got a cane that looks like a Dendrobium) with terete leaves. Google turned out Dendrobium junceum, was that right? There was no flower so I have no way to verify it.
tanya,
I have seen only two terete dends here, D. junceum and the other one is this. Based on probabilities alone, what you saw was probably D. junceum because that is lots more common compared to D. polytrichum.
So its probably junceum. The woman said she bought it from the vegetable market.
:welcome: nice to see you here , that is a cool looking plant ! Gin
Hmm. Mass exodus from the other side?Good to see you here too!
Beautiful plant- I would totally kill it. Like in two days.
This is a must have if it fits my conditions. What are its growing conditions? :check:
I REALLY like it.

Matt,
This plant is grown in an area a bit brighter than where phals are. Not quite Vanda light.
I am a compulsive waterer but since it is mounted on treefern, I guess it stood up to abuse.
