    Default Dendrobium kentrophyllum

    Just to share with you this is tiny dendrobium native to Malaysia like to grow on Durian tree floriferous and strong fragrant.Unfortunately the blooms last for 36 hours only.

    Zain - that is such a darling little flower - I love it!

    So, my question is, is the strong fragrance strong enough to overpower the durian?

    I like these Zain and the fragrance factor certainly enhances the attractiveness of this plant. Beauty as they say is fleeting...............though were it flees to I have no idea. AL

    It's seasonal 4 to 7 times a year in response to temperature drop maybe similar like pigeon orchid (crumenatum) these is 3 times it's blooms for this year.Thanks Yew.

    Patty, Durian is so strong it will be occupied entire room very fast have you try this fruit before? You can sniff at a distance of one foot so sweet I like the fragrance.Thanks.

    Zain, I'm aware of it only by reputation. I tend to be openminded to new foods, but I'm not sure about the durian...I've heard too many negatives about it, I'm ashamed to say.
