    Shane and Patty I did not give this orchid a 'ten' so I could allow Lars room to grow in our horticultural world of wonder. Shane it isn't true that because this Stanhopea wardii x Assidensis is not mine that I gave it a infinite 9.999999999................I would of given this same orchid a 'eleven' if it belonged to me. AL

    Thanks for the compliments: a 9.9x is as good as a 10. I did not actually know what to expect when I bought this one, as there were no pictures out there. I am rather positively surprised by it. Can't wait for my Stanhopea nigroviolacea 'Mefistofele' which is supposed to be a near "black" (actually purple) form of nigroviolacea

    Surprised that it has no scent with wardii in the mix. Love it though.
