Is the odour of the flowers very strong? I think it's a Thrixspermum tsii, for me native to China.

very nice! I think it could be Thr. fragrans. Compare to my plant:

This is a very beautiful and desirabel orchid. I looked up T. tsii on IOSPE but there is only a drawing ; strange how botanical drawings never seem to look like the actual plants ( to me ).
I'd put it on my wish-list except that the chance of seeing one for sale is about as good as me being offered a ride on the next Moon rocket.
