    Default Maxillaria gracilis

    Hello!

    I bought this one two years ago from a German vendor. It suffered a massive mealybug attack after I got it (together with mealybugs ) and I managed to save it.
    Last year it had 3 flowers, this year 15+!

    I grow it intermediate in a small pot with medium light.

    Love how the orchid blooms our outlined with a darker hue. So pretty. Glad your orchid survived the mealybugs!

    Wow - 3 flowers last year; 5-fold to 15 this year, obviously that plant is thanking you for taking such good care of it! The flowers are darling!

    i picked up a little one of these couple of months ago but didnt know the proper name for it...just made a mental note that it was "the yellow maxillaria"...do they have the same smell or is it any different from the tenuifolia? that would be extra cool if they had a different smell!! and thank goodness you kicked them mealybugs in the ass!!! well on your way to a massive show plant!!
