Great cattleya Amey! You're right, that is a Janice Evans "sweet sixteen". Mine has been in bloom for about a month now and has another few weeks left in it. I posted some pictures last month. Nice fragrance too!

Remember I was cribbing that this huge plant was blooming with just two flowers a few months ago, So the plant decided to enthrall me, it has been in bloom sequentially some growths at a time, but finally this week there are 9 flowers at the same time, heres an update

Congrats, Amey. I see the plant has hardened up and the the stalks are nice and rigid giving the blooms a better presentation.

Thanks a lot Yew and Bruce. Yes it seems to love the hot and humid conditions it gets in my GH. I hope my other Catts learn from this one and instead of blooming sequentially one at a time, bloom all at once to create a nice show.
