Today marks 1 year here. In that time, I have posted 1000 times, acquired 93 new plants, a light-setup (for winter, and year-round for those who faint at 102* temps), and learned what a bulbo was, not to mention a zygo. Still not quite clear on "floofie" but I think it means a large and frilly catt. If so, this is my first floofie...
Most of my catts are smaller, or not particularly frilly. This one...I recently happened upon an online special for 7 BS orchids for ridiculously low price. Growers choice; a grabbag basically, no promise even of what types they'd be. When the box arrived, 6 of the 7 were in bud or spike, and this is the first to open. It had only 1 bud (should have been 2, but one had broken off), but it's 6 inches across, very fragrant, and I love the colors!
