    Default Look what phalowed me home!

    Ok, terrible, terrible pun...I apologize to those of you now groaning. But really, when I went to the grocery Monday, and this little mini-phal was on sale for $6.99, what was I supposed to do but let it follow me home?

    The color really is a lovely light green, with 2 spikes, about 14 blooms, and another handful of buds. It had been let get too dry, and most of the buds that hadn't already opened were shriveling, but the roots looked good, and it perked right up with some water:

    Lovely Kathy! I have one of those, I think it is called Green Star. It is a prolific bloomer, and the spike branches at each node! Mine currently has a spike with 19 flowers and buds.

    Kathi, I have one of those as well bought from a big box store a few weeks before Mother's Day. It had three spikes of blooms (never counted but at least twenty, like Borza's!!!). I only cut off one of the three spikes this past weekend. The other two are still going strong. One of the spikes has two buds left, almost open It's grown a new leaf and has a new one just peaking through.

    It phalowed me home three months ago too =P Silly Kathi!

    Its beautiful Kathi and it sounds like its a easy grower and easy bloomer to. It is therefore not going to be a pain-in-the-nopsis. AL
