Very beautiful !!! But it doesn't look like 'spots' looks like a natural pattern.
My, what big roots you have!!!
Don
Congratulations. I really love this orchid. Our 'Spots' is more of a solid color, but with a few spots.
Cheers,

Thanks All. Amey, the 'Spots" name was on the label. I've looked at so many variations I have no idea if its normal or not. If its 'normal' I can remove the spots name & put my own on it I suppose. Thanks.
I have one with "Red Spots" on the label in spike but a while off opening, have to wait & see what its like.
I think it's the 'normal' gigantea - but then I am not really familiar with the var 'Spots'. The patterning of the spots on the 'normal' gigantea is very variable. I have the alba variety and the 'normal' var . I used to have the red 'Sagarik strain'. I have also seen the var 'illustris' and recently a peach-coloured var.
I like these Roy. Are they fragrant? If they are please describe what they smell like. AL
This one smells of musky Lemon citrus, with a touch of frangipani
