    Default Two Dendrobium NOIDS in Bloom

    I have these two noid dens in bloom now. The large one always blooms for me this time of year and the blooms are very long lasting. The miniature one usually waits till fall as do my other mini dens but this year they are all in spike now. This one has been in bloom since early June and has several more spikes developing. The large one just opened this week.

    Bill, they look very much like my Den Chao Phraya Gem. (Check my post in OT 06-05-2010 ). June seems to be the peak blooming season for them, though they bloom several times a year even from the older p-bulbs. The colour of the blooms are very variable but the basic shape of the flowers remain the same,
