I think my biggest problem would be getting the media to dry more evenly, instead of staying wet in the middle. One grower I talked to uses sta-lite in any pot over six inches for that reason, but that stuff is heavy. I am trying using a small 2" net pot, upside down in the middle of the pot, with media on top & around it...jury is still out on that, but I think it will help me not overwater the bigger pots.
