Whereas I have gone to the birds. (Hope y'all liked my avatar, BTW.) And yes, "yeppers" is one of Rob's words. (I know him from another forum.)

In any event, I appreciate y'all helping me out and attempting to get me up to speed. I say "attempt" and the fact it's likely to result in failure is my failing, not any of you kind souls doing so. Thanks so much!

Well, it's certainly a bunting. The Lark Bunting (Calamospiza melanocorys) is a bird of arid interior plains states. (And Canadian provinces--gotta remember not to make Rob feel left out!)

It's also the state bird of Colorado.

I live just outside of Denver, as you may already know. Bunting isn't my real last name, and even Lark is only my nickname, but it just seemed appropriate to choose Lark_Bunting as my user name.
