I would have to agree, Angel. I, myself ignore them most of the time I pass by them at our local church, but seeing those pictures you post and realizing how beautiful they are made me want to rush to the church and get some cuttings!!! hehehe ~![]()

I know what your saying about limited space. I only have one tropical Hibiscus with bright red flowers that seem to get bigger and more profuse as the years go on. It after 5 or 6 years is still in its second pot since I bought it, which is 14 inches. My greenhouse is only 14 feet long and the branches cover over ten feet of this, most hugging the north face glass. The tallest branches reach 9 feet up, again north facing. I have had to trim two branches sticking in the aisle facing south in all this growth. This makes for the most convenient large plant in the greenhouse. Add fertilizer, water, and a little good potting soil and mix. AL
I can understand that Al, even when grown in a pot there are some varieties that grow quite large. Trimming makes the bush rounder, because the hibiscus is a vertical grower.
You know Angel from what your telling me about trimming, that means I was doing the right thing and didn't even know it..................AL
