What's in an orchid name?

So my neighbor gave me a division and just told me the blooms are orange. The tag name is a doozy: (Blc. Orange Nuggett x C. Nalo Surprise) x Ctna. Why Not 'Nalo'

Does is have a different name? Preferably a shorter one? Pics? My neighbor has a bunch of orchids, but no clue as to how to care for them, and she won't listen to culture advice. She usually gives them to me when she gets bored of waiting for the blooms

The name 'doozy' doesn't appear to be correct. Also, the name Nalo Surprise is not listed as an actual Cattleya hybrid either. Blc. Orange Nuggett and Ctna. Why Not both exist.

I found Cattleya Nalo surprise on RHS site, it is a very recent addition registered just this May, here is a link

But still you cannot shorten the name, since the hybrid between orange nugget and nalo surprise is not yet registered, so its a long call for a hybrid of an unregistered hybrid. May be you can get it registered once the parent is registered. I don't know how such cases are solved where you have the progeny of a known parent which is unregistered. Can you get both registered?? Any experts??
