This is the second time I'm posting a picture of this ascocenda. Normally (the last 5 times) the flowers have wavy edges on the petals and sepals. I remember Roy remarked on this trait. However this time it has decided to go 'straight' or 'strait-laced' or whatever and the petals have gone 'normal'. A lot of weird things have happened to my orchids. Recently my Den Ellen White 'Mutation' lost the green edging, Eplc/Shy( or whatever it is called now)Mae Bly 'Ching Hua Splash' has lost the splashes on one of the lateral petals on 3 of the 4 flowers on the same spike, while the 4th flower has the normal splashes on the lateral petals. Sounds a bit confusing, but I'll post a picture of this Mae Bly when the blooms are fully open. Must have something to do with the freaky weather we're having cos I don't use any hormone-laced fertiliser.
