Great photo's love the last one
Very attractive leaves on the greeny![]()
Incredible blooms and the markings are superb Maura. Never get to see mine flower as I always get defeated by crown rot. Guess my environment is just not suitable with the continuous need for misting. Does Phillip get jealous when your paphs get all the attention over the bonsai from visitors to your home. I do hope ive got the right maura or this reply will seem insane.
Incredible! If the display in the top photo was next to a TV I wouldnt be watching the TV!!! Perfect!
Beautiful collection of slipper orchids!
cheers,

Maura, I've grown orchids for more years then I care to mention and have never grown a slipper. Your photos could make me want to try them![]()

OMG. That is some instant collection!Gimme......!
Yes, indeed, you got all of it right, although Phillip just bought a 40 year-old 4' bald cypress at a bonsaid auction that is quite dramatic looking. You know, your crown rot may be due to leaving little wells of water at the center of your paph leaves - wnen I happen to splash water in there, I wick it out with either paper towels or even Q-tips. I would think anywhere in England would be a perfect place for paphs - EXCEPT in too much light in a sunroom.
I loved them photo's so much also and i have just ordered my first Paph which is a Paphiopedilum rothschildianum will have to wait a bit for it to flower but it worth the wait. :-)
