Very nice, stately looking blooms. They remind me of Encyclia flowers. Somewhat like Encyclia Tampensis? AL
Actually Macradenia is in the Oncidinae subgroup of orchids and related to species such as Macroclinium
So sharp-looking! I like that interesting lip, too.
How do you grow these? Do they like Oncidium-type conditions? I was just looking for culture advice on Macradenia multiflora the other day.
I grow them like Tolumnia: small pots with airy substrate and high humidity. You can also check Genera Orchidacearum: Epidendroideae ... - Google Books bottom of page 291
Lovely coloring in the blooms. I agree, Al, they do look like encyclia orchid blooms.

Very lovely blooms. Love the shape of this one. Reminds me of paraphalaenopsis labukensis. Nice growing.
I have another Macradenia with different colour in bud ... should be 1-2 weeks
