I think it is an anitum as it has those bluish green veining compared to adductum. I am not 100% sure I guess we have to wait for the flower to open.

Paphiopedilum anitum has long mottled leaves same with Paphiopedilum adductum but the leaf margins folds backward and leaf venation is prominent than Paphiopedilum adductum.
Just compare my previous post of my Paphiopedilum anitum, it is a difficult and slow growing species.

I wouldn't say anitum has mottled leaves. The leaves of anitum are solid green like other multifloras, but glaucous (blusih tint) like glaucophyllum and the veining is more prominent.
I have had about 6 dark vinicolored paphs with buds look like yours in that first picture - all different hybrids, including some primary species hybrids - but one of the best clues as to what it will look like when it blooms is how dark reddish-burgundy the shading under the leaves is and yours look pretty green - my guess is that it's going to be a sort of coloratum - which are beautiful, by the way! I don't know what you paid for it, but around here in the States, a good hybrid paph goes for $30-40 USD - in retail nurseries, as well as special orchid nurseries - it's on par with the cost of a species zygo in spike, or even a catt. I'd add yours to my collection in a New York minute, as they say -
Good luck blooming it -
Maura
Maura, the original price for each is 500 pesos thats about 10$, however I was able to haggle the price down to 800 pesos for both thats 8$, still expensive for Philippine standards as we
can get a haynaldianum for 75 pesos thats about 1.50$
Eggshell,Derek,Pahio... i guess the only way to settle the identity of this orchid is to wait for the bloom to open, fingers cross that the flowers wont blast.
Finally the first one has opened and definitely not anitum... but still a pretty... I hope someone can ID.
Maudiae type with philppinense IMO.
Is a beauty.
