Very interesting texture to these! My hoya sits neglected out front..but somehow is still alive. I should move it around back so it gets some water and blooms.
My mother in law has one here that has never bloomed because she won't let me move it into some light. I just bought my first hoya today in bloom. It is called Ruby Sue. Smells wonderful.
Yours is just gorgeous and such great pictures.
The grow so fast, they want to grab on to anything and start climbing. I put mine in the bark of my old sabal palms and they do great. In no time they have the tree covered. The palm fronds keep the frost off in winter. Enjoy!
I last grew one a very long time ago - gave up when I found that that was where the scale lived when I
had killed it everywhere else - but it re-grouped, and re-emerged, every time I looked away...
