Great looking blooms. Have never tried zygos. Haven't seen any in the local nurseries that I have visited.
Thank you - it's really a beautiful plant, although perhaps not strictly a zygo. (Still researching). I hear they have a whole lot of them in Germany - that seems to be where this one comes from and its lack of documentation and parentage info has created a small storm around the forum. Wish you did zygos, too, Yew - the more help on this the better.

Regardless of the parents or name, the blooms of this zygo orchid are so nice.
cheers,

It appears that Galeopetalum Giant 'Rhein Moonlight' may the correct full name (Zygopetalum Artur Elle x Galeottia grandiflora).
Yes, Geleopetalum Giant is registered with the RHS. You can find it on their website.
UPDATE
Looks like the mystery may be solved! Thanks Angie, for getting me the right genus and grex to look for. I don't think anyone was able to find it before, because we were all going on the zygo clue. The actual taxonomy of this Zygopetalum Alliance hybrid is Galeopetalum Giant 'Rhein Moonlight' - AND it apparently was been awarded an AM/AOS. The parents are Zygopetalum Artur Elle and Galeottia grandiflora. "Giant" is considered to be an epithet by the RHS, and there is a synonym genus name - "Zygolum". Although the orchid was registered by an individual in 2005, the originator is listed as unknown, so perhaps the original nursery in Germany has been one-upped on this one. One would think that they would be shouting to the world that their cross won an AOS award, at least. I think I've exhausted this entire topic right now, so I'll just end with posting a few photos later under the proper ID.
Thanks to everyone who helped with this - it's really the first NOID I've had any success unravelling.

It is just gorgeous! Congrats.
It never try to search the RHS website for something like this when OrchidWiz is so much easier. Any cultivar name that is in the AOS awards included in OrchidWiz can be searched. Or call up a list of all Galeopetalum hybrids and you only have about a dozen to sift through. There is even a picture of this cultivar that made it easy to confirm.
