    Default My hummers

    We are having a blast watching these this year....we have at least 20 sprinting about...but we do have 7 feeders out ! Yes, we love hummingirds !
    This ,we think is a this years male..he has the tinnest red dot on his throat, and BOSSY as all get out ! He has taken to perching on the hanging brackets...a vista where he can see eveywhere ! Pictures aren't the best, it was getting dusky and we just had a rain shower ,so it is very overcast too. Plus, about the time I went to snap ,he had to go chase another one....

    That is definitely an immature male. Really good photos! I have 3 feeders on my patio, and my neighbor has one too. I have one male Allen's that tries to guard them all.. It's so much fun to watch them and listen to thier funny squeaky songs.

    The piccies look good to me , when I tried to take a picture of Demon all I got was a blur he lives up to his name ,guarding the feeder . Gin
