Thanks again Michael. I really appreciate your opinion re the blooms. I think this orchid is much inferior to any of its wild ancestors. I hope I'll be able to photograph my philippinense intact when it blooms sometime in February. I'll be wary of the birds ( crested bulbul) this time.
