Excellent ~ Thanks for sharing!
Stinker or not, I am going to have to try and find this. Just stunning!!

Love it, the tongue sticks out so prominently because both parents are from the section Lepidorhiza.
Cheers
Vincent
Thank you Natali for sharing this flower and Vincent for the info. It reminds me of the Rolling Stones poster with that tongue!

Many thanks for the nice words. The scent of Bulbo was not too bad; besides, I don't care if some of my orchids smell foul because I grow them outside.![]()

Love the way it looks, Natalie...but I'll just appreciate your pictures of this one! I want to go into my greenhouse, & smell SWEET scents! Betty
What a cool bulbo orchid! Love the red and yellow colors.
cheers,

My Bulbo is in bloom again.
You might be surprised why I am so happy about this blooming (one spike only) but I have a reason. Once in February or January I left this plant in bushes for several hours with temps 27-28 F. The plant did not die!! (another forgotten plant & frost survivor was Coel. rochussenii)
I hope it will do better next blooming.

Those flies sure like it, too! It's neat to see nature working together.
