It blooms year round, Cathy. I guess you don't know much about these types of orchids. They are miniatures, Even the specimen plants don't look big. If you are counting the number of growths it has produced so far, it definitely grows a lot faster than Cattleyas and Vandas.
FYI, if you google, you may realize this is a specimen plant. About six months ago, it got 16 flowers and some buds at one time. If I were into the judging stuff, it would have been awarded a CCE/AOS then.
