My goodness, Cathy! You've got us all on watch....
This darn weather has this everything stalled. We have had a wicked cold snap and overcast weather in South Florida.
low light + cold temps = s-l-o-w g-r-o-w-t-h
I'm expecting a slate grey with some yellow speckling and a dark purple lip. Anyway, I have my fingers crossed for that.

Geez, talk about orchid foreplay
Ahhhh. So close. When I was a beginner grower, I used to force to open the flowers buds with my fingers. I learned to be "patient".

After all this hype this thing had better be good.
...and Naoki, it is hard being such a smarta$$ this early in the morning?![]()
Oh, good morning!!!
If your prediction is correct, it is interesting to know that the purple from the Gordon Dillon is almost washed away except the lip. That is why Vandas are so addicting to me.

I guess I'll just have to wait a few more days. I'm really hoping that my predication is close. Both parents are beautiful but some times even good looking parents have ugly offspring.
It is a large plant that has never bloomed for me. I bought it based on the cross.
...and good morning
Ok....not exactly what I expected/hoped for. It still will take a few days to flatten out and color up. I'm still hoping for a little more slate blue/gray
