Early Christmas for you all in America! I even heared it on the dutch radio this weekend! Big news!!!
Hope you get your greenhouse free of snow, otherwise your orchids might need some extra light these days....
Wow, Bill! Lots of snow already. It is cold here, but so far - dry. Hope it stays that way for a while. And, I hope your weather improves soon.
Cheers,

I think 21 people died as a direct result. Terrible news.
No whatever happened to this 'Global Warming' rumour ive been hearing? hmm.....Has anyone else noticed how our summers seem to be diminishing in intensity, and our winters seem to be more ferocious? I mean, cmon, Hamilton (where i live) had snow this year-first time on almost a century! At least, this is what ive noticed here. I have seen the news though-winters seem to be absolutely chaotic in Great Britain, Europe, North Asia and North America!
Infact i may as well say the entire northern Northern Hemisphere!
Btw Bill, great shots! now im going into moopy mode-i wish our winters had snow like that, instead of a one off flurry![]()
It was terrible last year in South Florida. I can't remember how many consecutive days but is was like 10 or 12 where we had 20 and 30s at night.
OH yeah, nothing like a white Halloween! Luckily I only live a few miles from the ocean so we only got about 4 inches of the heavy stuff and only lost power for about 3 hours. It did take down 4 tree limbs which I just finished dragging to the curb since the town is going to chip it all. Unfortunately in Western Massachusetts they had 2 feet of heavy wet snow and many places are still without power and are expected to be until Friday. Lovely photos Bill, let's hope this is the worst of it for a long while. - martha
Yes it was chaotic last year with a lot of snow in late november in the middle of France, and for almost 2 months. I've never seen that !
Summer is in April-May and mid september/ beginning of October (we had 28°C - 82.4°F - 15 days ago !), autumn is in August... This is nonsense !
