Looks so wonderful filling up with plants although it looks like you're going to need a second storey for that Vanda soon.

Hi Connie - don't know how I missed this thread since I knew you had "given" yourself a greenhouse for your birthday. I loved watching the stages of production and as of the last photos, I am so charmed by the simplicity and serenity that emanates from it, it's given me very bad "I-wants". Part of me wants to visit and see it in person and the other part of me knows that would be a very seductive, and dangerous, idea. It's beautiful and I hope you have many, many moments of quiet joy in your work and leisure time there.
I go out there and when I come in my husband will say..."have you been out there all this time?". lol I make sure to shut things down (puter, tv, etc) and take the camera as it's very difficult to leave once I get in there. I bribe myself, if I dust first I can go out into the greenhouse...or if I do a couple loads of laundry...and it works great! I am so caught up i'm already working on Christmas this year!![]()
I have been spending a great deal of time in the greenhouse. It's been quite the job getting the plants arranged and re-arranged. I've changed a few things, including my fertilizer and wow what a huge change. The last few months i've begun misting my mounted plants, vanda and some of the basket plants. The change in their growth has been amazing. I can't wait to post a few of the really cool plants...like a bulbo I bought quite awhile back. It seems some of my plants are doing much better in the greenhouse. I am just about a hermit...if it weren't for the need for food and water i'd live out there! lol
The first two pictures were taken a couple days ago...
These pictures were taken this afternoon after i'd added another shelf, to get a few more plants off the ground in the misting area.
