Cattleya eldorado in bud

The flowers seem so fragile when they begin to open.

Yes, it is true. I hate when I have to miss this "wonder of birth" if I may say so. I especially love to observe Cattleyas "in labor". The opening of a Cattleya's bud reminds me about butterflies, you know, all these stages from a caterpillar through a cocoon to a butterfly.
According to vendor's website, it should bloom like this:
