    hi, here is the end result, guess i chicken out during the last minute. ended up sitting it in a bigger clay pot, however did end fracturing one root *can see from the image where it had a 90 degree acute angle*
    will eventually filled up the charcoal media slightly as they sets in. thanks for all the advice everyone. much appreciated.
    then i hanged the pot at a tilting angle and keep the two finger cross

    It is a very nice idea to suspend your phal. like this. Please send us a pic in six months/one year to see its progress. She should be very beautiful.

    will try remembering doing that and thanks. just keeping my finger cross that i would have a showy gigantea by then
