    Both are very nice...
    I'm jealous now...
I think the 'wild' one is nice it more soft and elegant than the deeper blue one. But the deep blue one is also very stunning...

I echo Yews' remark...as I believe the species to be more beautiful. Love the darker violet lip, also.....Good growing Zain...Betty :-)

Thanks Betty I agree with you, I would be more happier if I can get wild flowers with strong tessellation on it.
    Thanks Yew.

I was thinking the same as most of you. I love the shape and stance of the wild, but I love the color and tesselation of the selected. Both are still gorgeous!

There's room for both in my collection . Chalk and cheese - variety is the spice of life. But it does annoy me when judges criticise primary hybrids from this species because the lateral petals are twisted out of the plane of the flower - as well-shown here. Such a natural feature - how can it downgrade the plant ?

Very wise Zain - you won't suffer as we do , who enter shows . Why is it that I don't get first in every class I enter ? Must be judges with wrong ideas ! ( only joking, honest ! )
