You guys! I have been really inspired by all this. I used to keep these very frogs and anolis lizards when I was a student. I rarely let the frogs out of their vivarium because they were a bit hard to control, but the anoles were out almost every day: they were tame and did not mind at all being handled. Lovely, lovely creatures. Now I am thinking : why not have some anoles permanently resident in the conservatory- there is always a ready supply of insects: the spiders can't keep up. If I do get some residents, maybe I ought to be prepared to release some crickets from time to time... hmm... this needs more thought!
