    Nice, but something tells me its a hybrid. The petals and dorsal sepal are just too round and flowers seem quite small, and a upright inflorescence doesnt fit much as well.

    According to the vendor this is an awarded vatiety of the species. It is supposed to be a result of selective breeding but not cross breeding.

    When this was awarded (HCC/AOS), there were 100+ flowers 5.5cm wide. There are a number of awarded stuartianas with comparably shaped flowers and/or comparable color.
