    I also LOVE blue orchids. I just got one of these and it just started a spike. Your photo makes me even more excited to see my plant bloom

    No offense, but it looks purple to me. I still haven't ever seen an orchid with what I would call a true primary blue to it? It is a great flower however. Nice growing.

    Does look purplish, but either way, it's a very beautiful flower!

    Think of it like a "blue" Great Dane or a Kerry "Blue" Terrier. It may not be true blue, but it is still a stunning color.
