Wow, what a range of colours and what healthy plants! Love the blue ones though, just gorgeous.
Love all of them. They are all so beautiful. Guess it runs in a family.
I just found this !! Very well grown beauties, Yew Sung. I couldn't pick a favorite. I like them all for different reasons. They look very healthy and just the right shade of green for me to know they are receiving the right amount of sun and water. BRAVO!!!
I came back to mention the fact that sometimes you see vanda types and they almost have a dusty appearance to the all over plant. To me that dusty looks mean not enough water. I think that is where many fail with vandas. It is hard to over water one. And with that being said...all of mine have that sort of dusty look at the moment. We are still too cool to really be pouring the water to them like I normally would.
Thanks everyone for looking in. I started with vandas more than 50 years ago and have never lost being fascinated by them.Of course the weather here is ideal for them and I grow them outdoors 24/7 under 50 percent shade.`They are heavy feeders and I foliar feed them weakly weekly, water them twice a day and 3 times a day from Dec to Mar during the dry season. Vandas are particularly susceptible to thrips and yellow beetles love the flowers.
Yew I really loves your vandas so healthy and blooming at the same time, you are very lucky that can grow vandas very well as the climate up there so conducive for them to flower, I have to force by a chemical and an organic in order to enjoy their beauties.
Gorgeous!!!
Magic display Yew. Some excellent blooms there. My Luang Prabang is nearly flowering size, can't wait for it.
All these vandas are truly awesome, they are magical, all!
