I have noticed that you have your spikes staked. The spikes on my NOID Schom. are so long that they would look quite odd if I staked them.
I have to admit that I can be a bit clumsy at times , and if a spike is staked there is less chance of it being broken when I am handling the plant - especially , as here, when the plant is grown hanging up. It is so easy to catch it on the wire as it is unhooked and lowered. I think the stems are probably sufficiently strong not to need the stake for support , but it does give some protection.
