This made me laugh!!!! Yes, orchids are top of the line obsession material...you never run out of ones you, ahem, need. You never run out of things to learn. And they are so rewarding!

I love your tagline...my parents read Nero Wolfe novels, so I started reading them as a kid...it was probably one of the reasons I have ended up an orchid lover.

I'm a huge Nero Wolfe fan! Phal. 'Nero Wolfe' is on my wish list - I don't know how easy it will be to find though, since it was registered in '81. *laughing at herself* I'm such a fangirl - I have the opportunity to go to an orchid show this weekend (two actually!!) and I intend to look for a Phal. aphrodite because it is Wolfe's favorite orchid. I've already found a source for an online purchase if the the shows this weekend don't turn up a specimen for me.

Jason, I think I am headed in the direction of orchid addiction myself. I keep getting distracted from everything I am doing to wander off and look at them, or pick up the pots and peer at the roots, or browse OT or look at orchid pictures in google....
