Eric, I've never seen trianae with a lip like that ...so, it is unique. The color form is very pretty and pleasing and the rest of the plant is classic. How old is it?

I see why you are a bit disappointed, I would be too if a near perfect flower with gorgeous petals and stunning color combination would be marred by the inferior lip shape, but I think the positives outweigh the negatives on this one. I would keep it too

I got it 3 years ago (NBS seedling), it is the 2nd bloom and flower shape is always the same.

Eric, may be the lip shape is not flawless, but the color is. I would keep the plant, too. I agree, it is unique.

Glad you decided to keep it. I find the bloom unique and as Zain said - it stands out on its own.
