I'm very glad to know that my Vanda looks "normal" to you. Since I don't live in Florida, I seldom (actually never) see Vandas near where I live in Alabama, so there weren't others to compare to (unless in pictures).

As for the keikies, I haven't even tried to remove them because I really didn't know how but mainly because of the same reason you mentioned....that hopefully they would add to the display (when they actually bloom, that is).
