Dendrobium pierardii

I have a couple of species dendrobium orchids blooming currently. I snapped some quick photos to share. This first one is Dendrobium pierardii and was a trade/ gift from Gin. (Thanks Gin!!) I have been growing it for a few years now. I am so happy to finally catch it blooming!

Thanks Tom. The Masd is Masdevalia Pixie Shadow. I almost lost it a couple years ago when the fan went out in the 110+ heat of August. It finally came back and is now blooming. Nothing like it used to bloom though. There was a time when it was covered with blooms. It is the only Masdevalia that I have ever been able to grow. It just gets too hot here for them. This one stays damp and lives in front of the Koolcell year round.

Lovely dendrobium species from North East India, I believe it is renamed as D. cucullatum. Mine is flowering too, not many blooms this year since I repotted it in fall last year.

Mine soon blooming. The main season for Dend species in Vietnam so flower just everywhere.

I believe it is renamed as D. cucullatum.

The (actual) accepted name for Dendrobium pierardii is Dendrobium aphyllum. Cucullatum and pierardii are synonyms.
